Rachel Nogueira joined AndArchitects as a Director in 2005.  Previously Rachel was the first Director appointed to set up the London office of HLW International, a 500 strong US practice.  During the five years that she was with the company, the London office grew from seven to thirty five employees.  

AndArchitects benefits enormously from her expertise in the commercial office sector.  Soon after Rachel’s appointment in 2005, AndArchitectswon commercial commissions starting with the design of US pharmaceutical giant Amgen’s offices in Holland.  Strategic analysis for the relocation of the company’s European headquarters soon followed - and then further commercial commissions including fit-out projects for Canon, Cameron Taylor Bedford, Banco BPI, Caixa Geral de Depositos (Portuguese State Bank), Portuguese Consulate and the Portugese Embassy.

Rachel's previous experience includes acting as project architect for the 350,000 sqft Canary Wharf offices of McGraw Hill, the offices of law firm Eversheds and several projects for JP Morgan Chase.
