Manuel Nogueira - Founding Director
Manuel studied at UCL (The Bartlett). After graduating, he started his career at RT James & Partners, Consulting Engineers. Here he as the sole in-house architectural consultant he began his specialism in sports architecture with over 25 years of experience. Manuel was a Chair of the RIBA Small Practice Group for two years and sat on the RIBA Small Practice and International Committee.
Advisory Roles & think tanks include; Global Alliance for Urban Crisis, International Olympic Committee - Sustainability think tank, Cabinet Office SME Procurement Advisory Group, RIBA Client Advisor, Wandsworth & Richmond Design Review panel Member, Specialist research into sustainable and modular architecture.

Rachel Nogueira - Director
Rachel Nogueira joined AndArchitects as a Director in 2005. With over 35 years of experience in practice, she brings extensive knowledge across a range of project types and scales. As the first Director appointed to establish the London office of HLW International, a 500-strong US practice, she led high-profile projects in The City, Canary Wharf and across Europe, specialising in high-rise buildings and commercial interiors. A RIBA Client Advisor, Rachel combines design leadership with deep expertise in practice management and contract law to uphold the highest standards of industry governance.

Tom Reekie - Senior Associate
Tom joined AndArchitects in 2011 after graduating from the University of Cambridge, completing his professional training within the practice and qualifying as an architect in 2015. His experience spans a wide range of sectors, including the BMW Pavilion for the London 2012 Olympic Games, Vivienne Westwood’s studios, and numerous high-end residential projects. Tom has delivered multi-residential schemes for both private developers and housing associations, with a particular focus on modular and off-site construction. He also has significant expertise in working with historic and listed buildings, and in traditional methods of construction.

Celeste French - Head of Interiors
Celeste is an Interior Designer with a BA Hons degree in Interior Architecture from Leeds College of Art & Design. Since graduating in 1998 Celeste has worked in both New York and London design practices. Celeste joined AndArchitects in 2007 as one of the very first staff members in the office! Since then Celeste has had the opportunity to work on all aspects of interior design from high end residential to large-scale commercial projects.

Jae Yoo - Architect
Jae is originally from Seoul, South Korea and has been a resident of 6 cities with culturally diverse characters. She joined AndArchitects in 2015 for her part I, and since joining, she has been working on a varied portfolio focused on high-end residential and stadia projects. Jae gained her RIBA Part I and Part II qualifications at Cardiff University and became an Architect in 2022.

Danai Tsiouri - Architect
Originally from Athens, Greece, she moved to the UK in 2011 and graduated with a BA(Hons) and MArch diplomas in Architecture from Kingston University of London. Danai joined AndArchitects in May 2019 and has previously worked in both Seville and London practices, from small residential to large scale commercial or mixed-use projects. In September 2022 she completed a PGDip Professional Practice in Architecture and became a registered Architect.

Adam Dobson - Architect
Adam previously worked at AndArchitects in 2019 and joined back in July 2022, having gained both his RIBA Part I (BSc Hons) and Part II (MArch) qualifications at The University of Reading, picking up a number of University awards over this period. With a keen interest in sports architecture and its relationship with local communities, Adam completed his dissertation research and design thesis on the Social Value of Stadia. His interest in sports venues continues into his personal life where he undertook the challenge of designing and building a Lego version of Charlton Athletics' Stadium, The Valley.

Jobey Keene - Architect
Jobey joined AndArchitects in September 2018 as a Part I architectural assistant. He has since gained his MArch at the University of Manchester and his Part III qualification at the University of Cambridge. He has since specialised in bioconstruction through multiple residential and agricultural projects across Latin America. Upon returning to London, he has rejoined AndArchitects and is working on a variety of commercial, residential and stadia projects.

Peter Hughes - Architectural Assistant
Peter joined AndArchitects in January 2022 as a Part I architectural assistant, with a BArch (hons) in Architecture from the University of Nottingham. Having previously worked as a site operative, he has hands on construction experience. Currently, Peter is working on a variety of residential and stadia projects.

Lucy Ayres - Architectural Assistant
Lucy graduated with BSc (Hons) in Architecture from The Bartlett, UCL, in 2024. Lucy joined AndArchitects as an architectural assistant in September 2024, having worked as an intern the previous summer. She has experience in residential architectural design, as a graphic design assistant and model maker for art spaces. Lucy has been working on a range of residential and stadia projects and has strong interests in sustainable retrofit and landscape architecture.

Diego Carreras - Architectural Assistant
Diego Carreras joined AndArchitects as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant in February 2025 after graduating from the Bartlett School of Architecture. Originally from New York and raised in Geneva, he is bilingual in French and English. With a strong foundation in both design and construction, Diego has gained hands-on experience through contracting work in the United States and involvement in self-built structures.

Leah Woodcock - Architectural Assistant
Leah joined AndArchitects as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant in August 2025 after graduating from the University of Nottingham. Half French, she developed a keen interest in chalet architecture through time spent working in the Alps. Leah took part in the Design+Build Studio - a programme in which students design and construct early childhood crèches in South Africa. This immersive experience gave her practical insight into the full architectural process, from concept to on-site construction.

Purdey - Chief of Motivation
Purdey joined the office in May 2018 and has been an exceptional Chief of Motivation ever since. She is very clever, loves belly rubs and meeting new people. Purdey is a talented motivator, which helps the office to maintain high levels of productivity throughout the working day.
